RainRain Web Design is a freelance web design and development business set up in 2007 by Bob Murphy. Operations are based in Kilkenny, Ireland. Bob has been active in web design since 1999 and has experience across a broad spectrum of web technologies and languages.

With the recent arrival of the so called "Web 2.0", the focus has been to build websites which benefit both the owners, due to the ease with which changes can be made; and also the site's audience, by encouraging the construction of more interactive websites. The primary system used is the 'Joomla' content management system which is a free open source platform with widespread available support.

Design goals include, standards compliance , accessibility and a pleasant and useable layout. From a visual perspective the goal is to create or re-create the client's image on the web with an emphasis on well chosen photography, typography and suitable colours.
