F.A.Q. 

Q. Can I use my own domain name?

A. Yes, except for the two economy packages.

 

Q. How would my customers pay?

A. All major credit cards.

 

Q. What payment processor is used?

A. For these packages Paypal is included, however there are other options.

 

Q. I've heard that my customers would have to sign up with Paypal to use it to pay for my goods. Is this true?

A. No, this used to be the case but is not longer true. Customers at your checkout have the option of becoming Paypal members or paying with a regular credit card.

  

Q. What about Laser Payments?

A. Unfortunately Laser is not possible with these packages, sorry. 

 

Q. Is there any way around this for customers who wish to pay from their bank accounts.

A. If they choose to join Paypal then they can transfer money from their bank account into their Paypal account and pay that way. It takes a few days however. Also, customers who dont have credit cards can purchase temporary prepaid cards at many local newsagents using VISA's 3V system.

 

Q. If the system is not hosted on my website how will it look to my customers ?

A. Premium, Custom and Standard offer a domain hosting facility meaning that your domain would point to your shopping cart. This effectively makes it "your" website. ( It's just hosted with a different hosting company )

 

Q. If my domain name is now pointing to my new shopping cart what happens to my current site? 

 A. There are lots of options. If your current site is small then it could possibly be integrated into your new shopping system. It is also possible to operate 2 domains etc.

 

Q. Is there any limit to the number of products or departments I can have ?

A. No, the packages come with various amounts of products and departments already set up but you can add more if you like.

 

Q. I have a large number of products to be added on top of the packages, would you offer a discount ?

A. It would depend on a few factors but the answer would most likely be yes.

 

Q. What way does shipping work ?

A. Shipping would need to be based on flat rates as opposed to weights.

 

Q. I am not very good with computers, how difficult is the system to learn.

A. The system is very user friendly and the documentation is very easy to follow. Also, there are video tutorials and you can always ask questions by email. The vital operations of adding products and dealing with orders are not overly complicated and most people would eventually get to grips with them no matter how computer illiterate.

Payment details

  • A deposit of 40% of the full vat inclusive amount is required to start the project.
  •  Balance is due on shop completion date.
